Wireless Differential Correction Receiver
MobileMapper™ Beacon provides the Thales Navigation mobile mapping family
of handheld GPS receivers with real-time DGPS correction data from beacon
networks around the world. Improving real-time positioning accuracy
without the need for post processing, MobileMapper Beacon offers GPS users
the convenience of Bluetooth® wireless technology to set you free from
cumbersome cables.
Compatible with standard RTCM SC-104 beacon corrections, MobileMapper
Beacon features advanced digital signal processing techniques to deliver
reliable demodulation of DGPS data from beacon broadcasts, even in noisy
environments. MobileMapper Beacon makes manual tuning of your receiver and
monitoring of performance status easy through a simple, convenient menu
interface. When used with your MobileMapper CE or MobileMapper, real-time
accuracy is greatly enhanced.
MobileMapper Beacon includes an internal H-field beacon antenna, Bluetooth
communication and is powered by 4 standard AA batteries. Designed for
maximum portability under rigorous conditions, MobileMapper Beacon
attaches conveniently to a belt when working in the field and is extremely
rugged and water -resistant. Together with MobileMapper receivers, ,
MobileMapper Beacon provides a complete solution for easy and reliable
sub-meter GIS data collection. |
